Clare Valley
One of Australia’s oldest regions famed for it’s ability to produce world class wines - particularly Riesling, the most important white wine in the region. Topping the region for area under vine is Shiraz, followed by Cabernet Sauvignon. In 2018 the regions 40 something boutique and small winemakers and growers came together to create a single association with a focus on the improvement of the reputation for other brilliantly made Clare Valley wines. This is having an impact already and we are seeing great interest in wines produced using Semillon, Pinot Grigio, Chardonnay Grenache, Malbec and Tempranillo among others.
